This would be much more interesting if they moved beyond the bygone notion that we have an innate connection with nature, and that it&#039;s much more likely to be the socially defined ideals that western society labels nature with. I thought you guys at the situationist would be all over that. And with that in mind, why does it have to be nature that promoted? Why not pictures of puppies and kittens, or Art Deco, or sports or any other style of environmental stimulus?

What was the point of study 2? They say that they tested them for connectedness to nature and autonomy, but these results are never provided, or discussed, nor mentioned at all in the paper besides saying they did it. Other than that it&#039;s a exact replication of the first experiment. Huh?

There was also no control condition in order to eliminate the effect that the audio would have, or the test/retest effect.

If this is representative of the positive psychology movement, I&#039;m not impressed.]]></description>
