Nanotechnology seems to offer technocratic solutions to many of social and environmental problems, but are technocratic solutions all that is needed or does this way of thinking (which fits nicely with ecological modernisation ideas and are favoured by industry and many governments) need to be changed into more ecocentric way of thinking or even a heavier focus on risks from nanotechnology (as in the ideas of Beck's risk society) and highlight the need for more research into the risks of nanoscience and nanotechnology?

Please check my blog for my views on risks and benefits of nanotechnology at randommanplanetearth.blogspot.com

What do you think? Would love a reply on my blog!
